While searching for ways to conduct kinesiology testing in online sessions, as kinesiology is a component of classical aura surgery, I came across the Spiritual Kinesiology of the Californian doctor couple Phillip and Jane Mountrose.
I’m fascinated by their method for several reasons: Firstly, it offers a whole toolbox for working with clients, such as a simplified form of EFT tapping for managing stress, anger, and anxiety; secondly, it shows remarkable overlap with the techniques I developed for my form of aura surgery – thus completing the circle of working on physical symptoms, transforming deep-seated emotional issues, and providing acute support for clients in stressful situations.
Spiritual Kinesiology consists of various tests and exercises that – similar to aura surgery – can be used to identify and resolve underlying causes of emotional distress and energetic blockages in the body, such as childhood experiences.
In addition, it offers techniques that clients can use during and after the session to easily reduce their stress and anxiety levels or alleviate acute anger. The Reframing&Anchoring technique, which is partly based on knowledge from neurolinguistics (NLP), has particularly impressed me in self-application. Through simple hand positions and a focus on the stressful emotion on the one hand (literally), and positive stimuli on the other, the negative anchor „collapses“ into the positive one – in other words, the energy that feeds the negative emotion dissipates. Even if this technique doesn’t always eliminate the cause – for example, interpersonal conflicts, unresolved traumas, or deep-seated past life experiences – it provides noticeable relief and enables a change of perspective, which provides the starting point for further work on the root cause. This easy-to-learn technique is a valuable tool, especially in acute situations.
Furthermore, Spiritual Kinesiology emphasizes the energetic balance of the body sides in relation to the horizontal and vertical axes, as well as the relationship between body regions – such as the torso, limbs, or head. Any differences and their (usually emotional) causes are tested and balanced. To achieve this, the client enters into conscious communication with the corresponding body parts and exchanges their needs. Here, too, overlaps with aura surgery are evident, in which we utilize body awareness and communicate specifically with the body’s own intelligence.
In addition to body awareness, also social archetypes, group archetypes, and the inner child are addressed to visualize and resolve shame, guilt, fear, insecurity, and other blockages. For this purpose, various postures and positions in space are used, which – similar to participants in a constellation – represent the individual parts of the being, each of which can then speak and describe their perceptions.
Spiritual Kinesiology is a fascinating approach that fits seamlessly into my previous techniques and offerings.
